Latest Updates from Our Project:

It's Unmistakable: Less than 22 hours to go!
about 1 year ago – Thu, Jun 04, 2020 at 10:43:26 AM

Thank you all so much for pushing us to the final 22 hours, so get ready for surveys and more updates on production soon!

Since we're ending in a few hours, we wanted to highlight some other amazing games and content by Black creators that we are interested in and we think you would be too!

Chris Spivey's Haunted West is a tabletop RPG that's available for pre-order! Here's the description:

The Old West—The Wild West, The American Frontier—is one of the world’s most familiar modern myths. The time was draped in ruggedness; there was an idealized dream of freedom, and a notion that just one person could shape the world. That myth belongs to all of us. Yet so many stories of truth, justice, and the American Way have been stolen, erased, and never recorded. Haunted West is a game about hope through struggle. It is a game that pieces together the stories of the largely forgotten people of the Old West, the people who have been whitewashed by history. Discover the American experience in the Weird West.

Whitney Delaglio's Prism is a wonderful aquatic-themed tabletop RPG that you can purchase here. Here's the description:

Prism is an aquatic roleplaying game about conflict resolution and relationships. There are six realms in the game with their own code of ethics, culture, and deity.

Jchon Bahl II's Crazy Uncle Charlie is fun spatial puzzle game. It's also in a ProtoATL contest for the Game Crafter and votes are appreciated! Here's the description:

In Crazy Uncle Charlie, players will assume the role of cousins who are pitted against each other in another one of Crazy Uncle Charlie’s games. During the game, players will take turns placing or tucking cards to a personal tableau to form polyomino shapes for various scoring opportunities.

A Narrative Designer and Writer who we really respect is Jordan Jones-Brewster who has a Kickstarter up right now for a video game called We Should Talk. Jordan is also working on a video game adaptation of the hit HBO series Insecure, entitled Insecure: The Come Up Game, as well as a project with Deep Silver Volition. You can find Jordan's website here:

For game criticism websites, check out Intelligame run by Josh Boykin. It is very insightful with links here: / /

Here's also an excellent list of tabletop RPG designers (and a few board game designers) that you can follow:

And finally, we want to share this website that lists several game developers that you can reach out to if you or your company is looking to hire:

Thanks all and happy gaming!

Only 3 days to go! Time to introduce some Boys With Luv!
about 1 year ago – Mon, Jun 01, 2020 at 07:10:55 PM

With only 3 days to go, we wanted to first address something important to us. Game and a Curry an Asian-owned publishing business and we stand with protesting inequality and injustice. While we are still very small, we support Black creators and will continue to show that support, through collaboration, especially for our next projects.

Okay, now onto the Boys! We wanted to introduce you to... Asher! They're an Emo Boy who might seem a little disgruntled, but we swear, they're excited to be here!

And here are all the avatars for the Emo Boys!

Who's your IDOL? 6 days to go and the new Boy is here!
about 1 year ago – Sun, May 31, 2020 at 07:26:47 PM

With only 6 days to go, we are so excited to introduce you all to Farhad, by artist Renmiou! The newest addition to the Boys! He will be a wild card, meaning he is good at everything and he's a part of every genre. Each deck will come with one Farhad card, so cross your fingers you can get him into your band (or poach him from an opponent with a better contract deal).

We're almost at the end of the campaign, so we'd really appreciate it if you could share the Kickstarter with all your friends and thanks for all your support so far!

Everybody Get Up! Only 9 days left!
about 1 year ago – Wed, May 27, 2020 at 06:47:27 PM

We only have 9 days let in the campaign! We're so excited with all the support so far and we'd love to get a final push, so if you can share and tell your friends, we would really appreciate it!

We also wanted to share something that a friend of ours sent over. Prince Landon got a cameo from Scott from the band, Five to say a few words to us and we are so thrilled! You can follow @princelandon on Instagram (again, thank you so much for this - we are so giggly over this)!

Everybody rock your body with Sea of Legends!
about 1 year ago – Fri, May 22, 2020 at 01:55:33 PM

Some of us at Game and a Curry have teamed up with our friends at Guildhall Studios to write on Sea of Legends, a board game with monstrous minis and a creative storytelling app that lets players take on the roles of pirates hunting for treasure and notoriety in the Carribean.

In celebration of our collaboration, here’s an interview that Banana Chan did with Ryan Schapals, the Creative Director of Guildhall Studios.

We have also released four new avatars for the Supernatural Boys that you can use for your profile pictures.

Meet Prince Woojin, Tomas, Julian, Paolo, the Boys with the most haunting monsta looks!
